KATHMANDU: An improvised explosive device (IED) was defused outside the premises of St Xavier College at Maitighar in the capital city, Wednesday morning. According to police, the explosive device was discovered at around 5:50 am and a bomb disposal team from the Nepal Army was sent to the site to defuse it. The team defused the bomb at around 7:44 am.
